Our Story. A New Chapter
From Etude Lounge to Etude W Salon, and now Etude DTLA, our story continues through a commitment to beautiful hair, personal care, and lasting relationships. With roots in Los Angeles’s Koreatown and an influence drawn from Korean beauty, we bring that tradition to South Park in Downtown Los Angeles. Etude DTLA marks a new chapter—where experience meets fresh ideas, techniques evolve, and the care at the heart of Etude continues.
Since 2007, Etude Salon has paired expert hair styling with thoughtful, personal care in the greater Los Angeles area. From our original salon in Koreatown to our new location in DTLA's South Park neighborhood, we've evolved our techniques while staying true to the relationships that define Etude — a premium hair salon built on trust, craft, and community.

How do I know which service is right for my hair type?
We recommend a consultation before booking, especially if this is your first visit. Contact us to discuss your hair’s current condition, previous treatments, and the look you have in mind. This helps us recommend the right service and prepare for your appointment.
Can I reschedule after I’ve booked?
Yes. Please call or email the salon, and our team will help you find another available time. We appreciate as much notice as possible so we can offer your appointment to another guest. For changes close to your appointment, please call us directly.
Your prices say “& up.” How much will my service cost?
“& up” indicates the starting price. Your final price depends on your stylist, your hair’s length, thickness and condition, and the work needed to achieve your desired look. Contact us before booking for a personalized estimate. Your stylist will confirm the price with you before beginning your service.
“Where should I park, and how do I get to the salon?”
The parking garage entrance is on Hill Street and is managed by Metropolis. We provide parking validation with your service. After exiting the garage on foot, turn right and follow the sidewalk around the corner onto Olympic Boulevard. Etude DTLA will be on your right.
